Protection Spell - Archival print

“Protection Spell" depicts one of my favorite pieces of architecture on planet Earth: The Yurt. This yurt is surrounded by ferns and a moist understory, but that does not mean it is protected from raging wildfires. Nothing is protected from wildfires. Although fire and entropy are part of our universe, we can still hold special places safe in our hearts with our own spells of protection. “Protection Spell” depicts a swoon-worthy yurt in a geometric-altered scorched redwood landscape. Inspired by the 1884 book Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, I have taken many liberties with the word “landscape”. 

The original painting (pictured in the last image) was made using acrylic, gouache, graphite, and ink on panel.

DETAILS:

- This is an archival print of an original Jennifer Peart artwork. 

- PAPER IS LARGER THAN LISTED SIZE. Dimensions are larger than the listed size to include a plain paper white border around the printed image. The 8x10 inch prints are centered on 11x14 inch white paper, 11x14 inch prints on 16x20 inch white paper, and 16x20 inch prints on 20x24 inch white paper. Extra-large prints have 1-inch borders on all sides. Both print and paper sizes are standardized to simplify framing. Standardized paper sizes mean you can frame your print with or without a mat.

- DECKLED EDGE OPTION: Choosing the deckled edge feature will result in a border that is slightly smaller (0.25 to 0.5 inches on each side) around the entire printed image.

- Each print is signed on the front, bottom right-hand corner, underneath the printed artwork.

- Frame and mat are NOT included with your purchase.

- All of my prints are printed using Epson Ultrachrome HDR inks on Somerset Velvet fine art paper. Epson Ultrachrome HDR is the latest technology of professional, archival, pigment-based inkjet ink. Somerset Velvet paper is top quality, 100% cotton, acid-free paper used to create long-lasting prints.

- I highly recommend getting your print professionally framed using archival, acid-free mats and backing.

- Avoid hanging the print in sunlight - even with UV glass/plexiglass.

- Avoid exposing the print to smoke, moisture, high amounts of airborne dust/dirt/pollen, solvents, adhesives, and other damaging contaminants.

- All sales are final.

- Prints are shipped for free within the contiguous United States. 

- Prints are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Small 8x10 inch prints ship in flat envelope mailers with supportive backing boards. All 11x14 inch or larger prints are rolled up in a heavy duty shipping tube. 

- Worldwide shipping is available and it will be invoiced after purchase. See SPECIAL REQUESTS below.

- Please allow 1-2 weeks for the printing and processing of archival prints.
