Come paint alongside your pals and celebrate friendship for Pal-entine’s Day in a cozy watercolor workshop. Join local artist Jennifer Peart for a playful afternoon focused on painting linzer sandwich cookies using approachable, traditional watercolor techniques. This class is all about presence, joy, and making art together, no pressure, just paint and friendship.

Jennifer will gently guide students through foundational watercolor skills, including basic color mixing, brush control, layering simple washes, and observing light, texture, and shape. Together, we will focus on careful looking, building form slowly, and capturing the charm, personality, and texture of these beloved cookies through paint.

Throughout the workshop, students will work step by step, learning how to translate real objects into watercolor paintings while embracing imperfections and enjoying the process. Expect a relaxed, social atmosphere where conversation, laughter, and creativity flow freely.

This is a sober event. Sparkling non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. All materials are included, though you are warmly welcome to bring your own favorite supplies if you prefer. No prior experience is necessary. Come paint cookies, celebrate friendship, and enjoy a warm, welcoming afternoon of watercolor!
