This collection of visionary landscapes moves between Nevada’s silver deserts and California’s golden horizons. From red rock canyons and sacred trees to emerald lakes, hot springs, and the shifting colors of the seasons, these paintings honor the living spirit of place while imagining futures of balance and reciprocity.

As I hike, sketch, and sit with these landscapes, I think about how they hold deep time: geologic forces, ecological rhythms, and the ancestral stewardship of Indigenous peoples who have always known these lands as sacred. Silver and Gold carries a wish for renewed reciprocity - an invitation to re-remember our deep connection to the land. We are not separate from nature, but part of it: kin to soil, water, wind, and stone.

Drawing inspiration from both landscape painting traditions and visionary science fiction, my work opens windows into possible worlds where humans live as stewards and kin rather than extractors. Through bold color, texture, and design motifs rooted in science fiction’s speculative architectures, I imagine how we might reshape our relationship with the land and envision new ways of belonging.
